This piece draws inspiration from two wingback chairs positioned at opposite ends of the site, creating intimate private zones on either side and a communal space centered around the bench. The site features two existing outlets, each highlighted by a vibrant pink steel runway designed to draw the eye toward them. Walnut plywood was chosen for its warm, natural tone, with the edges deliberately left un-banded in order to be honest with the material. Touches of grey and pink upholstery felt emerge through the wood in select areas, adding both visual warmth and comfortable padding to make the piece more inviting.

Materials: walnut ply, powder-coated steel, maharam kvadrat upholstery wool
